Tape and Bed

Jonsco provides Tape and Bedding gypsum walls and ceilings in exposed areas and concealed areas. We offer Level 1 finishing to ensure fire-rated protection to Level 5 full skim of walls for customers.

Tape & bed Level of Finishing and Recommended Uses:

• Level 1: Concealed spaces to diminish air movement
• Level 2: Gypsum surfaces behind tile.
• Level 3: Only use in Electrical and Mechanical Rooms.
• Level 4: Typical painted surfaces.
• Level 5: Curved surfaces.

For customers requiring demolition of existing items such as a removed electrical outlet or built-in bookshelf, we patch the surface as needed to minimize any visibility of past disturbances in walls or ceilings.
